Sun Tyre & Wheel Systems, part of the 109-year, $8 billion TVS Group of India, has acquired SIRIUS Controls Pvt Ltd. based in India. The acquisition of SIRIUS extends the range of products offered by SUN-TWS to the Material Handling segment.

SIRIUS Controls Pvt Ltd. was set up in 1986 to produce Chargers for Flooded Lead Acid, VRLA, and Lithium batteries used in Material Handling Equipment. Sirius has an overwhelming share of all major OEMs in India. This includes Toyota, Godrej, Kion, Hyundai etc. This acquisition will help both companies capitalise on the synergies within the Material Handling space.
